DNS error

Several times a day I cannot connect to the internet because of DNS error.
I spent over an hour on the phone with support last week
but the problem is still occurring
can anyone help?

I use Google chrome
About 3 times a day
It says cannot connect you
dns error

according to the control panel
network connections
I'm still connected
and the light still blinks on the modem as if I'm still connected

Hi,
Have you tried the troubleshooting steps outlined by Google chrome?
Go to the wrench menu
Click Options
Under the Hood
Change proxy settings
LAN settings
Deselect "Use a proxy server for your LAN" checkbox
This is normally the issue. If you have already tried this please let me know.

Have you change the DNS number?
