Just trying to figure it out for sure. I have U300 plus HD with Pro internet and I pay the $94 before taxes. That's with $10 bundle discount and the $15 free-movie-channels-for-a-year discount. So without either discount I would be paying 119, then minus the HD (since those prices don't include that) and that would be $109. That's $10 more than what is listed for U300 and Pro above, so those still include the bundle.

Ya the bundle is included in those prices, You should have movie channels free with u300.. shouldn't have to pay 15 at anytime for them.

Yeah it's included in the pricing for U300, but since I signed up during the "free movie channel" promotion, they give you an extra $15 discount per month to cover that part (like they would if I had signed up for U200). So yes the 99 above for U300 and Pro includes the movie channels.

Everything official I read says that "MAX" is going to be a 4th level at $55 dollars a month. This will drive the pricing about Comcast. Granted we get more channels on the TV side BUT I just ran some speed tests on Comcast yesterday and for 49.95 I am getting better that 13MIBS consistently! So guess what ???? Uverse just exceeded Comcast pricing for less. Doesn't AT&T think this would be an issue?

I couldn't agree more.  I was getting between 13 and 15mps from Cox for 49.95

I just signed up for Uverse and my bill will be within 90 cents of my Comcast. Yes we get more channels and it include more more the cost out of pocket for the total package is just about equal not counting the upgrade to MAX.

            must be very  plain vanilla commiecast imho   aka no extras at all...

            in our area it really adds up with all the extra fees they want for rental of devices etc

Guys the bottom line no matter what is that we are being charged more for less! 13 MEG for 49.95 10 MEG for 55.00. Is that hard to see?

Regardless, you won't always get 13mbps with your cable internet. That's the way it is designed, ATT has your 10mbps sitting there waiting on you no matter what time of day/night or bad weather or even if you have an illegal downloader living next door. See if comcast can give you that....

Sure, you might think you're getting a fast speed with Comcast, but you're not. Comcast offers a service called Power Boost that allows you to burst for the first few megabytes of a file up to 12 Mbps when you are on the 6 Mbps service. The bursting has gone higher according to some people. It's great if you download nothing larger than 10mb. Try something around 20 or more and you will see that the speed is gone. If I remember, when you hit the 10 megabyte mark your speed will drop like you've never seen.

It's an illusion to make you think you are getting more for your money.
