Apparently someone at U-Verse LEAKED(HA-HA) the 2HD rollout schedule and posted it on engadgetHD. Here is the link.

San Antonio---dead last!   According to what I saw, we are the last city for the rollout.  Can't say I'm really surprised.

I called in and had to wait 20 minutes for some jackass to transfer me to Uverse in WI.  Then for some reason it went to the telephone service, so they transfered me to uverse, but in conneticut and it took 30 minutes for someone to pick up the phone.  Then they ask me for some 4 digit authenticity code that I don't know, and have never had to provide.  How am I supposed to get this **bleep**ing code?  1 hour spent on the phone, no results.

Leaked!? Hilarious. I wonder when the WHDVR list will be leaked. I'm sure SA will be one of the lasts on that list also.

after 2 hours I finally got it done, but everyone I talked to was a complete **bleep** about it.  But, my HD streams should be happening tomorrow

The four digit code was created by someone who has access to your account. It is a requirement for all access to your Uverse account and has been for a while now. If you look at the list closely, even though SA was the last one on the list, their dates were the last ones to occur. Some other areas won't be completely done until well past SA.

I guess we in SA are going to have to be a little patient. Maybe I'll call this weekend and see if they can do it.

Honestly, I'd rather have WHDVR so my grandson can watch 'Ben 10' in his room and a 1000 gig hard drive in the STB so we can record HD rather than SD.

To my knowledge, 78154 is not a San Antonio zip code. Must be in one of the outlying areas (Lytle, Natalia, etc).

I'm waiting, too.  With great anticipation, I might add. Maybe with WHDVR they'll switch around and put SA first instead of last.

For both of us here, the picture quality seems to be much better. Color seems brighter, picture is much sharper IMHO.

S/HD

0/1, 0/2, 1/1, 1/2, 2/0, 2/1, 2/2. 3/1, 4/0

If so then no downside. Has anyone tried all 9 scenarios?

well I know that the max HD is 2, and I know that I can record more than 2 SD, so that should mean that I have all available combinations.

Randy I am going with your second suggestion, to buy the Pioneer tv.  I was just thinking about that tv yesterday.  I am going to look for more sellers of the Elite tv here in the Detroit area.  The one place that does carry it has much higher prices than stores that carry the same equipment.
