Hello,
I was wondering if there are any plans to bring this internet tier of speed to lawrenceville zip code 30046. I currently have the 18/1.5 plan and the slow upload is killing me. If there are any techs on this board that could possibly find out if there are any plans to bring that tier to my neighboorhood (Sundale Drive) that would be awesome. If there are no plans in the near future than I'll more than likely go back to cable for my internet.

Thanks for you reply. Is there anyway to find out what my distance to the VRAD or if I have any of the exceptions to the setup you stated below?

Sure. Can you download and install SomeJoe's tool at the link below?
http://www.uverserealtime.com/
Once you install the tool, please post screenshots of the following tabs: IP/Profile, Error Table, Bitloading, & Coax/HPNA.
We can take a look at the screenshots to see what your system looks like.

Also I went up to where the VRAD is and I'm about .3 miles which is roughly 1600 feet don't know why it says 2000 on the tool.

To get the 24/3 internet service, you must have the 32/5 VDSL line profile.
Your profile is only 25/2. The reason your profile is not 32/5 is because there is a bridge tap on your line.
It looks like there may be a bridge tap on your line. A bridge tap is an extra length of wire attached to your pair that doesn't terminate anywhere. It is usually left over from a previous customer that used your pair. Bridge taps cause problems with xDSL services.
You should call technical support, have them send a premises tech to your house to check the line. He should open a helper ticket with the Installation and Maintenance group (I&M), which are the linesmen, to come find and remove the bridge tap.
Once the bridge tap is removed, you will probably be able to be moved to the 32/5 line profile.
Once that is done, you should be eligible for 24/3 Internet service.

So I got the premises tech to come over. They saw the problem on my line that would happen around 3-6 pm and than die off. So He looks at my wiring and sees that it's wired for cat3 instead of cat5. He rewires my house with cat5 and assumes the problem fixed leaving me with his number and a 50 dollar charge that will probably get added to my bill. Well around 4 pm latency comes back and I tried contacting the tech to have that helper ticket created and he said he would get back to me. So far I have yet to hear back for both my initial call and the voicemails left afterwards. Is there any way to get those line techs out there to check for a bridge tap without having once again to go through CS or a premises tech?

The error table looks OK, but I still think there's a bridge tap there.
