I did a search and all the 3-D discussion was from 2010-2011, I didn't see any 3-D package as an option.
How does this 3-D content work? I have a 3-D TV, the glasses the whole deal. Watched many blu-ray 3-D movies. Now that I have U-Verse, I saw a 3-D short and it's side by side. My TV didn't decode it as a 3-D image.
Is this only available in certain areas? Do I need different equipment?
Thanks

U-verse dropped the 3D Package, which only included ESPN 3D, in August 2011. The only 3D content available is some On Demand movies.

Interesting - so how then does this 3-D content they have work? My TV isn't decoding the top/bottom pictures into 1 3-D picture. I messed with the TV settings and no change, the glasses engage but I still see 2 2-D pictures.
Kind of odd they'd offer 3-D programming if you can't view it correctly. A couple years ago it was much less common to see a 3-D TV at a home, since the prices have dropped it seems that there'd be more consumer demand for 3-D content. There's a hungrer for it at my house.....

i have a Sony 3d capable TV and in order to watch 3d movies on U-Verse I had to go to the TV's 3d settigns and specify that the 3d image was side-by-side or top and bottom whichever the case would be. Once I did that, it worked fine. I had to do the same with Comcast fwiw.

Meanwhile, in another blow to 3-D TV, DirectTV this month cut back their 3-D network's coverage of n3D from 24 hours to part-time claiming a lack in programming. As a 24-hour channel, the network has been repeating programs all day. This comes after AT&T U-verse dropped ESPN 3D last August due to a lack of interest.
