Does anyone know if we will be seeing AMC in HD any time soon? Mad Men starts on August 16th and I REALLY want to see this season in HD!

Some providers offer AMC HD but it is only stretch o vision

Wow, your timing is great. Weird, but great! I just got an email from one of my colleagues. He's the one who usually updates me on these issues but when I reached out to him yesterday, I found out he was on vacation so I got the info I shared with you from another source. Then Tony emailed me, just moments ago, from his vacation hideaway. He corrected what his team had told me, that AMC does broadcast in HD but that we don't yet have rights to it. They are negotiating for those rights with the company that owns AMC. They can't tell me when it might be resolved thou, just don't know that yet. I'm sorry to have given you poor information at first. The team that gave me the wrong info will be coached. Again, hope you're enjoying your summer.

does uverse now have hd on demand programming? when i left it was all letterboxed. if the recent update has changed that it may be another reason for me to come back.
