American Idol 3/14 has wrong original air date

It says 3/23/11, just manually record it or change to 1st run & reruns to catch any other screwups by FYI Television (maybe not). Titan TV is reporting it new w/an OAD of 3/7/12 on 3/14. Something weird is happening on this episode.

Edit: zap2it.com had the correct OAD of 3/14/12.

Thanks for the heads up.

Both of the upcoming week's episodes also have the wrong original air date:

The 3/7 episode also says OAD 3/23/3012.

The 3/8 episode says OAD 3/24/2012 but the NEXT Thurs. episode 3/25 is correct.

Bottom line, check all recordings.

So what. All you have to do is set your recording to record all episodes. It does not take a genius to do that. If that is all you have to complain about then consider yourself lucky.

I guess informing other users it's the wrong air date is not something you'd do so they catch the episode w/whatever means necessary.

BIG what! For some "cable" shows you might get 10-50 episodes, if you do all episodes. I would once again suggest that U-Verse find a new guide provider. Remember the guy that was complaining that he needed to reach U-Verse's "Index Corrections Department?" Nut case!

They had changed the OAD to 3/7/11 last week and finally go it right on Tuesday.

Have to say Jessica Sanchez (the absolute winner last nite), Holly Cavanagh and Joshua Ledet are definitely in it to win it w/last nite's performances.

I did not watch AI last night but my wife was so moved by Jessica's rendition of "I Will always love you," that she had me watch it on the DVR, before I left for work this morning. Our adult daughter told my wife that she cried during the song. Jessica is good, no she is great and she is only 16!

BTW: They should give you and I twelve months of free U-450 for finding / reporting all of these guide issues. That is nuts.

I was totally blown away last night by her performance. That is probably the best rendition of that song I've ever heard on AI and I've been watching since season 2.

This is the first time I recall having a "moment" this early in the season

Yep. I've been watching since S1 E1. One of the top 5 AI songs ever and, like you said, the best this early on! Awesome!

Jessica Sanchez was fabulous and interesting that Jimmy Iovine stated (and I had thought it already) Thursday nite that her performance was probably the best of any American Idol performance ever.

Unluckily I had forgotten to add Skylar Laine to those that are in it to win it, a country girl that did a very good job on Where Do Broken Hearts Go.

Edit: Went to OU's link and watched all four again, teared up at Jessica's performance again.

You would think that AT&T and FYI would do some spot checking of the bigger /higher rated shows just to make sure that this nonsense doesn't happen. I PM'd Alex.

Yeah I contacted Alex and he pushed it up. I got a call from Jonathan (I think) and he stated that the OAD was also wrong on his provider, Direct TV. Welp, either Direct also uses FYI OR maybe there was a snag @ FOX and they screwed up. At any rate it is fixed, but watch those OAD's, lol.

As a side not, probably one of the best performance nights I've seen in the Season's I've been watching AI last night. 5 standing ovations, in one night. Unheard of until last night. That's more than in a typical season, let alone one episode.

Yeah, standing ovations for Deandre, Hunan, Phillip and Colton, but not from me; don't care for any of their voices (were not my Hollywood picks).

Jessica, Elise (Whole Lotta Love was fantastic) and Joshua were the great performers in my estimation, Holly and Skylar were very good also, all my Hollywood picks left in the competition.
