Angel's games, Fox Sports West dropped from channel guide [ Edited ]

I am ready to go back to Time Warner Cable.  FSW which carries the Angles in SoCal has been dropped by U-Verse.  It is the only reason I upgraded to the package I have.  Whom do I contact to have all the equipment for U-Verse TV removed?  I will keep my land line and internet service for the time being.

Not a happy user of U-Verse for a long time.

No, Fox Spors West (channel 1772) has not been dropped.   It is still shown in the Guide.  I am watching it now.

Check to make sure that the channel has not been hidden in your Guide:  MENU > Options > Channel Options > Hide channels

Also, if you want to cancel your service, call Customer Support.  They will give you instructions to take your equipment to a UPS location where is will be packed and returned to U-verse at no cost to you.

While stil in the guide, FSW channel 1772 HD in SoCal has no programming scheduled for the next 24 hours.  FSW is not an out-of-market sports channel here.  It was included in the 250 package with the $10 HD fee for all channels in HD except the premium HD. There was a crawl on FSW last Friday during the Angel's game that said something about contacting your provider if a ATT UV or Dish subscriber.  It had to do with Angel games being available on FSW on other services in the SoCal market, i.e. Comcast, Time-Warner, Direct TV.

No, I said 772 (the SD channel) has been dropped from the guide.  1772 is still listed but without any programming listed.

If you're an AT&T U-verse or Dish customer, unfortunately, you won't receive all Angels telecasts this season. FOX Sports West this year has increased its TV schedule and will show approximately 150 Angels games in 2012. The additional games have been made available to local TV providers. Most distributors have decided to carry all the games, but a few have not, including AT&T U-verse and Dish.  If you aren't receiving all Angels telecasts, we encourage you to contact your local TV provider to request that they carry the full-schedule of games.

I would assume that the Angeles moved those additional games from a local channel to the Fox Sports West.

When the TV schedule was first published 2 months ago, all game were listed on FSW.

This year, Fox Sports West is scheduled to broadcast 150 Angels games which according to Fox Sports West is more than what they have every broadcast.  I would assume that in previous seasons, some of the Angel games were on a local channel.  Those games have now been moved from the local channel to Fox Sports West.

Crazy stuff -- Prime Ticket (Fox Sports Prime Ticket) is still listed and showing L. A. Clippers Basketball live at the same time.  Seems like if there is a dispute between ATT and FOX, Prime Ticket would be dropped too?

No channels have been dropped.  The only dispute is carriage of the additional Los Angeles Angels games on Fox Sports West that were picked up from KCOP.

This situation with Fox Sports West broadcasting Angel's games sounds exactly like the situation we had in St. Louis with the Cardinal games up until Saturday when an agreement was signed between Fox Sports Midwest and AT&T.

We lost 20 games last year that had been picked up from local channel KSDK Channel 5. We were slated to lose another 20 games this year, but fortunately, an agreement was reached this past Saturday.

The Angels are getting $150 million a year from Fox Sports West. That is how they were able to afford Albert Pujols's ten year contract with an additional 10 years for personal appearances.

The Cardinals get $40 million from Fox Sports Midwest.

I still have FSW but they showed Angels Live and then told us that games had been dropped by Uverse! and I agree I'm ready to switch! I only signed up with this package I have to have ANGELS games

I would like to see all Angels games for the service I paid for or I will cancel all my at&t services. Cell, Internet and uverse $320 a month worth to go to another company.

I was getting ready to watch the Angels-Athletics game here in SoCal and then on the pre-game show they gave a mention that AT&T U-Verse and Dish Network would not be showing the game.  What the "heck"?

Is it some contract dispute?  Why are we always in the middle of it?  We pay enough each month and then we have to deal with this.

This is absurd!!!!! Not even a notification? I am a uverse 450 with max Internet and uvoice. I have been a solid customer since it came to my area. I have converted many people. I have talked people into staying after they had bad experiences. Then after a 12 hour day I come home to this? Just after the season started? After I wrapped my house in cat5? I've always given uverse the benefit of the doubt even when I had picture and data issues. But this just sucks. I am absolutely furious. Then I call and they are closed. If they don't fix this soon, I will cancel all of my AT&T services which also include 2 cell phones. Horrible way to treat your customers!!!!

What is ATT thinking to not broadcast Angels games? They must think that they have too many subscribers. I, for one, will leave ATT in a heartbeat if they don't change their current programming to carry Angels games.
