Angel's games, Fox Sports West dropped from channel guide

I have tried to find an article that lists all blacked out Angels games on Fox Sports West. Has anyone found such a list, and if so, how many games will be blacked out on U-Verse?

I am so glad that AT&T and Fox Sports Midwest got their contract problems resolved so that we can see all of the Cardinal games this season. At least in 2011 and this season, before the agreement was made, we were told by Dan Caesar in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch how many games were blacked out, and which dates were blacked out.

I just want to know in advance how many more Angels games will be blacked out.  On what days?  I tried calling and the CSR said a blackout is because they want you to go to the games live...he was uterly clueless.  Texasguy can you please help.

I have not been able to find a list of the Angels games that are effected.  In previous seasons, Fox Sports West broadcasted 125 games.  Beginning this year, the games that were previously broadcast on KCOP were also moved to Fox Sports West, and now 150 games will broadcast.  This enabled the Angels to sign a new 17 year deal with Fox Sports West worth $2.5 billion for the TV rights.  I guess they needed the extra money to pay Albert Pujols.

My guess is that 25 of the 150 games scheduled to be broadcast on Fox Sports West will be effected since both U-verse and Dish have not agreed to pay Fox Sports West an additional fee to receive the extra games.

Just checked and I see that tomorrow nights Angels games is also going to be blacked out.  They did this to use last year too. I know that ATT could care less but cancelling your service is the only way to get even.

Eventually, thing will probably be resolved.  

Fox Sports will pay more to the Angels.  U-verse will pay more to Fox Sports.  We, the customers, will pay more to U-verse. Don't you love capitalism?

The worst part is that there was no advanced notice that certain games were going to be blacked out. 

Again, we as paying customers, are put in the middle of Uverse and FSW dispute.

Really? It looks like you are making my decision to drop your service that much easier. With Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime being available, the only reason I keep your service is for live sports programming. Pay the extra $$ to Fox Sports or you will lose customers like me.

DirecTV also has their own isses. No provider is issue-free.

Luckily, many providers exist. If one doesn't fit your needs, you are more than welcome to choose from the competition. It seems you would be much happier elsewhere.

I hear you my first ever blog post,    I never thought I would see a cable provider blackout.  My bill is $250/month for uverse services.      I can get a lot more bang with Cox or Direct TV.    Now I have an even better reason to switch.  No Angel Games.

Just checked the u-Verse FSW schedule for the week.  The next live Angel telecast will be Thursdaiy 04-19-2012.  Tonight's (04-16) game can be seen at midnight tomorrow (04-17) and at noon tomorrow.  Same schedule for the game  04-17 and 04-18.

Someone, somewhere supposedly got the info that a total of 25 FSW covered games will not be shown live on u-Verse.

By the way, in Orange County, CA, channels 772 (FSW-SD) and 1772 (FSW-HD) are again available and the guide is showing the hour by hour programming.

Time Warner is already flooding our mailbox and front porch with flyers for deals on packages that take advantage of the loss of the games on u-Verse

No one has yet to produce a list of the blacked out Angels games. At least with Fox Sports Midwest and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, we were able to get the list last season and the one for this season that would have been in effect if an agreement had not been reached this past Saturday.

Here is a response from AT&T on the U-verse Facebook page.  The response is kind of predictable:

Hi Gracie, there are 25 games this season that Fox Sports West asked for additional fees for-- which ultimately would mean customers paying more to see games that were previously aired for free on KCOP.

This does seem to confirm my initial assumption that 25 games are effected; however, I still have not located a list of the 25 games.
