Another Good Customer Service Story

Yesterday morning my DVR (Motorola 1216) froze and I could not get it to reboot.
I had to go to some work meetings but around 2pm I was able to call CS.
They quickly set up a service call for this morning (8am to noon).
Tech arrived at 9am with a new high capacity 1225 unit. Had it installed and running by 10am
So less than 24 hours turnaround to fix and upgrade me.
Nicely done.

Be sure to call the sales department and see if you can get a little bit of credit since you were without (partial) service for a while. The worst they can do is give you nothing, but due to competition's sake, they should offer you a few bucks off for a month or so.

It's refreshing to see after reading on this board....we need this, I want this, the others have that, this sucks, picture is awful, I want more channels than the five gazillion i have, my HDMI is a PIA, and..well it can go on.
Service is most important and At&t is by far on top of this one. all the others things will come in time.

Glad to know you had a positive experience with ts. I have always had quick responses to issues I have had with services as well. Enjoy the higher capacity dvr.![]()

I decided not to call CS about it.
For one thing while I did lose the DVR and the recordings, my STB was working so I was able to move it to living room for the evening.
So I did not lose much and I try not to be too picky, problems do happen.
But I may mention it when my current discounts go away to see if I can get some discounted 450 package LOL

I've never had any CS issues with U-Verse. Good story!
