Anybody know if / when Comcast Sports Net Chicago might be available in SE Wisconsin?

I know it's not available now, but has anybody heard about this even being a possibility?  I live just north of the WI/IL Border and am a big Cubs fan (well, I was, might be reconsidering after this year!).  When I had Time Warner, they carried CSN Chicago, so I was able to watch them, it is also available on Directv.  Uverse doesn't offer that channel to me since I am served by the Milwaukee VHO.  I was hoping that it was just a contractual issue, but it seems like I might never get Comcast Sports net Chicago.  It just seems a little weird because while I don't get CSN Chicago, I do get CSN Southwest (California).  Why would I get the CSN From California and not the one that's only 50 miles to the south?  Anybody have any hope for me?

If you are not considered to be in that teams regional area, you won't get that channel, but seeing as you had it with other providers, it would seem you should have it with UV, but being served from the Milwaukee VHO, that might be enough to prevent you from getting that channel.

I'm in Ohio and also get the CSN in CA too. No idea why, but I do.

Not only does Time Warner offer it, but so do Dish & DTV in that area.  Personally I think he should try to contact the UV programming department.

being in detroit area, i am curious why i get comcast sportsnet california (formerly west) and not the chicago one, i wish we got ALL the comcasts like we get ALL the fsn's

I live on the Wisconsin/Illinois border also and when we had Dish Network, we got Comcast Sportsnet Chicago, so I don't think it has anything to do with blackout area or surrounding area.  My husband is a huge Chicago fan.  WE WANT CSN in southern Wisconsin!

And you won't get a good answer.  I live in SW Michigan.  When I signed up for Uverse, the AT&T website said I would get the channel... however after installation it was not available.  I was bounced around from techs and reps.  I contacted the Blackhawks to verify that I was in the "home market".  I submitted all sorts of requests to AT&T...  and nothing.  No answer.  They have sinced updated their website, but I still want to see the Hawks.

Although I wouldn't see any of the pro teams from this channel, I would love to have it. ATTs tv listings above state I should get CSN Chicago, but I don't.
