Blackhawks Game Blacked out

I live in South Bend Indiana and I went to watch my favorite team the Chicago Blackhawks on my local affiliate Comcast Sports Net Chicago and the game was blacked out...I called Uverse and they could not give me any reason for this occurring. Does anyone know why? I might have to switch back to Comcast if this happens again like it has the last 2 games!

There are blackout rules (of course) but it feels like UVERSE does not apply them correctly all of the time.  There is no reason you should be blacked out in South Bend...  The usual first response is "we cannot do anything about it".  I recommend elevating the request (Tier 2 support, ask for a manager, etc) to get it resolved.  I have seen UVERSE respond positively to items like this in the past....

Post your zip code. The AT&T folks look at these from time to time. Not all zip codes in the South Bend area are in the Blackhawks territory.. but that doesn't mean they blacked out you zip code in error.

I could not watch the Blackhawks game Friday and when I called U-Verse support they told me the game was Blacked out. I live in the South Suburbs 26 miles from the UC. I was reassured the information was correct and there were several other Blackhawks and Bulls games that will be Blacked Out. I understand Blacking out the game in MO or OH because I can't get Blues or Bluejackets games with my Sports package but to Black out locally!! I already signed up with Comcast and it is a shame because I really liked U-Verse.

Friday nights game was not blacked out, there was a network glitch between CSN-Chicago and UV.  However there are blackout rules that did not allow us to watch the St. Louis feed on FS-Mo.
