I am wondering if I can run 2 routers behind my RG? I tried it the other day, but I could not get an IP address from the second router. My RG and CradlePoint "N" router are located in an upstairs bedroom. I have a total coax installation and everything works great with 3 HDTV's, 2 laptops, 2 Roku's, and a Slingbox. I have a new Verizon Droid Razr Maxx (great phone), but the WIFI signal is a little weaker than I would like in my family room. I tried plugging in a portable CradlePoint router using a 50 foot ethernet cable I ran through the attic and wall a few years ago. I can easily connect my Razr or laptop to the router, but can't get an IP address. I didn't fool with it long because I just figured it was due to interference from the other router. The main router (upstairs) is setup as an internet access point. When I plugged in this secondary router, the U-Verse RG automatically resolved some issues and set up the secondary router in DMZ. I'm not totally sure what that means or if it's possible to run 2 routers like this without too much interference between the two wireless signals. My RG wireless signal is turned off. Any ideas?

The DMZ means that the RG applied the public facing IP to your new router which means your new router is still configured as a gateway/router. Which would mean you probably have a DHCP conflict with the RG.
You'll want to log into your new router, before you connect it to the RG, and set it up to be an access point like your upstairs router, and then plug it in to the RG. Under this configuration the RG is the DHCP/DNS server for your entire network.
As far as the multiple wireless networks go, just be sure both cradlepoints use different channels.

Well, I wasn't able to get it to work. The CRT350 won't let me save the settings I need. When I did the MBR1000 it was easy.

Hi...can i run my personal router as a "client bridge" behind the RG modem? I have several "offline" devices that I'd like to connect to the Internet via the RG...can I simply connect them to an inexpensive router configured as "client-bridge" mode, without causing interference or conflict with the DHCP running on the RG? When i config these routers I give them the RG's SSID and WPA2 password...they then obtain an IP address and connect the downstream device. Seems simple in theory...thanks!
