I just discovered that I can't dial 311 here in Los Angeles to access city services when dialing from U-Verse. Is that possible? It works from my cell phone, thankfully, but I can't imagine AT&T would be installing services in Los Angeles that don't support the centralized city services. Is there something I need re-configured with my account?

I believe 3 digit dialing, other than 911, is not available in all areas, yet. Here's a past thread on the topic http://forums.att.com/t5/Features-and-How-To/3-dig

thanks for the response. I guess if this was being talked about in 2008 and still hasn't changed, I'm not holding my breath.
I'd say it was interesting that my AT&T cell phone service was able to dial 311 but AT&T U-Verse wasn't, but I suppose it's par for the course and not that interesting.

I live in Miami, Florida and have the same problem. This stinks because they charge us on the mobile calls.
