The wireless network name (SSID) and the encryption key are on a sticker on the bottom/side of your Residential Gateway (RG). Also there is the password for the management of your RG. You can go into the RG's management using this web address: http://192.168.1.254. Once in there you can also change the password, wireless network name, and encryption key and method to your liking.

I posted a list of links on a step-by-step procedure in connecting game consoles to 2Wire here:
You will be needing your wireless network key (SSID) which is 2WIRE+last 3 digits of your serial number and the wireless network key. These two info can be found on the sticker panel at the side of your RG as what somejoe says.

Alright... So Im' having similar problems. I just got U-Verse and have been trying to use my wi-fi on my DS... Well. I've done what everyone's recommended, like the WEP code and SSID, I even filled out the Ip address and everything else on this page. http://support.2wire.com/?page=view&article=26&tex
I'm afraid that I'll never be able to use my wi-fi... Can someone help me? I have a Macintosh as well... If that helps with any problems. idk.
