I work from home and really need to be able to use the provided Toshiba IP phone. It connects directly to the internet. I should be able to plug in the power then plug the ethernet cable to the router/modem and get it to work. However, it won't work with uverse. Others from work can do this no problem with other internet providers.
I guess I'm wondering if there are any firewall settings I could/should change on my router settings in order to get this to work?
I'm not very tech savvy so any help would be appreciated.
I have uverse tv, phone and internet.

I will try to get this information. Would it be anything programmed into the phone?
Why do you think it won't work with uverse? Is this a common problem with uverse? This disappoints me as my husband and I really like all aspects of the uverse service. My boss is telling me to go ahead and pay for the at&t tech support to see if they can help me but I certainly don't want to waste his money. If it is probably impossible, it may not be worth it and maybe I should switch internet providers.
