I'm using Outlook 2007 SP3 for my email. Recently, I've had to continually click OK on the Outlook authentication window that has been popping up every two or three minutes. I think this started happening when AT&T changed the inbound and outbound server names but not for sure. This is an annoying and irritating problem. Anyone else have or had this problem and what was the fix, if any? Thanks.

I have Outlook 2010 and I am having the same problem. This morning, I received a call a manager from AT&T. They are researching the problem. I told him that I had noticed many people were having the same problem. As of yet, I haven't heard back from them.
Yesterday, a chat tech told me that she had received a report stating that their server was having problems with Outlook.

This problem with what appears from my research with ALL MS Outlook applications is completely rediculous and unacceptable. It has been going on for at least 6 weeks at this point for me. I have not seen any information posted from any ATT officials on the website. You would only think that if they were having issues with their CUSTOMERS connecting to their email through a platform as common and widely used as Outlook they would be bending over backwards to get this resolved and letting us the PAYING customers know what the status is but instead they dont say a word and hope the problem just goes away. This is the poorest of business practices and I for one am now telling ALL of my circle of influence to stay away from ATT and Uverse. The real thing that bothers me is not the fact that there is an obvious technical problem occuring it is the simple fact the ATT IS IGNORING THIS ISSUE AND EXPECTS US THE CUSTOMER TO FIGURE OUT SOMETHING ELSE!!!! I AM ALSO CONVINCED THAT THIS IS INTENDED TO SEND MANY OF US TO THEIR ONLINE EMAIL INTERFACE SO THEY CAN SELL ADVERTISING SPACE AND PROFIT. I FOR ONE AM FED UP AND WILL BE BLASTING ALL AND ANY BLOGS, MESSAGE BORADS, WEBSITES ETC ABOUT THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EVEN WORSE PRODUCT THAT THEY ARE PEDDLING.
Sincerely Upset,

In fact, that is what I did.

"Ren: Now listen, Cadet. I've got a job for you. See this button? Don't touch it! It's the History Eraser button, you fool!
Stimpy: So what'll happen?
Ren: That's just it. We don't know. Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?"
