I just recently had an interesting issue happen with my setup; NVG510 in "bridge" w/ pfsense 2.0.1
My WAN settings on my pfsense box were set with fixed ip settings of my Public IP. Every thing was running great for about two weeks and then all of sudden it just stopped working. Everything I tried would fail, I though maybe ATT was flipping the switch on IP6 since I had it disabled.
Anyway, I had to evetually just reset my NVG510 and take the pfsense box out of the equation... next weekend I try again.
Anyone else have this happen w/ their pfsense setups?

OMG, I GOT AN UPDATE!!! I went to access the Internet, and instead of the page I was looking for, I got a page with an error message from AT&T. This message said that there was a problem with my connection, and that it appeared the problem was due to a device connected to my line without a DSL filter.
Well, I hadn't changed anything at all, so I took a look at the logs in the NVG510's admin app. There were some interesting messages in there that looked like some admin stuff had been run. I tried the diagnostics, and surprisingly, everything passed. (Usually the 6rd Continuity fails.) Everything looked alright in my router, too. So, I checked the firmware value, and it was different. Hmm...
I ended up restarting my router, then the NVG510, and all is working fine now. SO... the big question is: did the firmware change fix the problems??? There still is no "bridge mode", so for now, all my settings are the same. I'll have to test whether the DNS is working properly now. If anyone is working with PPTP or the port forwarding issues, I'd like to hear whether they're working now, too. Crossing my fingers!
9.0.6h0d48 was the previous version. 9.0.6h2d21 is what's showing now. 6 months after it was due... wow! Hopefully we'll find it was worth the wait!

It didn't fix the DNS issue, either, per my testing. However, good news apparently for the PPTP VPN users:
