DO NOT GET ATT UVERSE

ATT uverse has the worst picture quality i've ever seen. I went back to my previous cable provider and now their picture, although better then ATT, is sup par from what it was before ATT came in and screwed everthing up. Worst customer service ever I would never recommend using ATT.

A lot of people on this forum have blamed AT&T for a lot of things, including poor picture quality. But this is the first time that I've seen AT&T get blamed for another provider's picture quality. ![]()

I totally agree with you. Since I subscribed to U-Verse on January 2, 2008, I have had more problems than you. Reception on my radios has been worse. I did not get as much static prior to getting U-Verse.
My televisions only show a black and white picture, my telephones only receive wrong numbers, and the Cubs have not won a World Series since 1908 as a result of my subscribing to U-Verse.
You should make an effort to warn everyone you know that U-Verse has a top secret way to mess up the picture for every other television provider. AT&T must have invented a top secret television jamming system.
Owning a computer and not having the internet is like buying a refrigerator and not stocking it with food.

It's quite possible the Uverse install tech mucked up the COAX somehow thus causing signal issues with both Uverse and any cable provider re-using the COAX aftewards.
But that would never happen because we all know that every single Uverse install tech is highly trained and overly dedicated to the quality of their work.

That explains my poor gas mileage, acid reflux and failure to balance my checking account! I'm sure all these problems will be rectified when I switch providers, now that I know that AT&T is the cause of all that is wrong in the Universe. All this time I just thought I was getting good service at a fair price!

Any tech with any provider doing a new install would test the existing coax to see if if can be re-used or needs to be replaced. Any tech who does not do that is simply not doing his or her job. If the coax is messed up and was re-used by the OP's new provider, the OP needs to complain to the new provider not U-verse.

I've had UVerse for over 2 years, better and more stable picture than what I had with Direct TV. Never had an issue with customer service and I recommend AT&T to anyone I work with that can get it. Two of my coworkers have had it installed and they both love it.
If your new providers picture is bad, it's ain't AT&T's fault.

It could be another spammer since this rant was not in all capital letters. Of course, he could have changed the way he wrote, since he did all capitals under his other ten to twenty names.

Don't know if this is a spammer malcontent or not, but for the record I have found UVerse to be top notch in every respect. The install was painless and the tech was knowledgeable and helpful. Support from ATT afterwards has been superb as I fumbled and bumbled my way around learning the features, etc. ATT has also happily put up with my blackout rants without blowing me off. The U450 package exceeds everything I have had before. I have persuaded three of my neighbors so far to make the switch and they are all happy. The ability to tap in to a nationwide network of customers via these forums is a real advantage, too.
Just to prove I am not an ATT plant, I would ask for some consideration for NHL Center Ice and MLB Extra Innings. Then life would be perfect.
