I've had U-Verse for about two years, and use the WRA to program my DVR frequently. I run into glitches every once in a while where the guide won't load properly or I'll get an error message when I try to schedule a recording, but for the last two weeks the guide has been essentially useless. At least 75% of the time, when I try to schedule a recording, I get the error message "We could not schedule this recording. Please try again." Some times, when I go to my list of scheduled recordings, the program shows up anyways, but if I click on it (to see the details), I get an error message that says "Showing details not available for this scheduled recording."
When I move around the guide, big chunks are missing, e.g. channel 185 is greyed out between 11 PM and 1 AM, even though programming is listed at that same time on the channels around it, and programming is listed for channel 185 starting at 1 AM.
I initially thought this was just a temporary glitch, but it's been nearly two weeks and if anything, the problem seems to be getting worse. I don't see anything posted where others are having similar problems, but it's not like rebooting my DVR is going to fix the website, so I'm totally befuddled. Any advice would be MUCH appreciated.

I just checked my WRA, I don't even show a channel 185. What channel is it supposed to be?

Sorry for the confusion, I was just making that up as an example.

I find in many ways that the WRA is better and more user friendly than the Guide that is on the boxes, for setting recordings.

Sorry, but what's a WRA guide?

I've been checking the guide for the past week now and haven't noticed any issues. What region are you in. I don't know if it is specific or not.

Don't know what it stands for, but it's the web based guide that allows you to program recordings. Web Remote Application? Good as any guess.

I believe WRA is an abbreviation for Web Remote Access.
I have issues with WRA on any computer 512MB of RAM or less. Not sure why it can't fit in that, but that has been my experience.

So are we talking about somehow using remote access to get in the DVR or is this a website? If its a web site how do I get to it?

aka Web Remote--program your DVR online, and you need UV HSI for access.

Hm, after weeks of frustration, the problem seems to have resolved itself. (For what it's worth, I live in Texas and have been accessing WRA from the same place I always have, my home computer, via UVerse HSI, so I don't think my computer was the problem, but then again it's hard to imagine what would have been the problem since the problem seemed localized entirely to me.) Thanks for everyone who took the time to respond.

Ah, thanks. I didn't know about the yahoo part. I do use the iPhone app sometimes.
Have you guys used the download feature yet on the iPhone?

No iPhone, here. I'm still stuck on a clamshell, dumbphone.
