Gaming lag

Recently I've been having issues with a game (Diablo 3). It started lagging greatly, and after doing a tracert to the server and showing my results to another forum, they said something is wrong with ATT NAT at hop 3 and 4:

No, just about every tracert I've done times out on 3/4.  They most likely are not programmed to respond to those requests.
