This really bothers me that I pay for HBO every month, plus I pay for HD every month, yet pretty much every premium channel but HBO has HD On Demand. No one I've talked to seems to have any clue as to when this will be available either.

The only thing I know, and I read it somewhere, is that UV has not been able to get HBO OD yet but it was in the works.

Comcast didn't offer HBO in HD either. Maybe it's an HBO thing, the other movie channels were in HD on Comcast.

Comcast had HBO On Demand in HD last time I checked. I believe they rolled it out just recently.

I had Comcast for I would like to say about 6-8 years.. I have always had HBO HD ON DEMAND with Comcast. AT&T Sucks and I am really frustrated that I just noticed I can't get HBO HD ON DEMAND, also, half the HD channels broadcast in plain format 50% of the time.. I would rather pay more money to get what I want... Cya AT&T, it's been a terrible few months with you.

I'm with Comcast now also and I've got HBO HD ON Demand. With AT&T you have a system that "Is not ready for prime time".

All I can suggest is to call and request it (read my earlier post...originally we had NO HBO OD!).
And Comcast is the first to bring you HBO On Demand® in HD...from their site...apparently another sweetheart deal!

Just noticed HBO and MAX On Demand HD today and watching Clueless on Max OD HD right now. They certainly weren't there last night! =)
I'm in the San Francisco / Oakland / San Jose market

In Dallas, I also see both HBO On Demand HD and Cinemax On Demand HD. I wonder if this means that AT&T has moved into the Comcast category and is no longer "not ready for prime time"?

They still need MLB Extra Innings and NHL Center Ice to be comparable to Comcast or Time Warner.

That's what you want. Not everyone wants what you want.
You don't mention the programming and features that U-verse has that neither Comcast or Time Warner have. Comcast and Time Warner needs to add those in order to be comparable with U-verse. ![]()

For every new feature AT&T adds, I think we need to complain about two more things
but they still don't have AMC or IFC in HD. This isn't like the awesome cable company I was with.. but for some reason I don't want to leave U-Verse. blah blah blah blah...
AT&T added HBO On Demand in HD, people should be satisfied with more features.
Anyway, they are offering a 3 month free trial for HBO and Cinemax, so anyone who's thinking about those channels should jump on this deal.

Picked up HBO & Cinemax OD HD in Madison, Wi. Market.
Nit picking here, but I hope they arrange them like the other OD listings. HBO SD next to HBO HD.
Currently HBO & Cinemax OD HD are added on the end of Premium OD listings. Nit picking.![]()
Cinemax OD HD debuts with 76 movies. Impressive start! And how much did my bill go up??

Your training is now complete my Padawan. Looks like that DVR is no longer useful and I could chuck the Harddrive. Now let the HD quality complaints persist ![]()
