All my tvs are HD now. More and more people are going HD. I am always getting that I have to stop recording a show or that I have to switch one of my tv's off of HD. When will this get fixed? Or if there is a fix for it what is it and how do I get it. Have U450 and have everything with at&t. I hope, ther is a fix.

The number of HD channels you can watch depends on your Uverse signal speed. You normally get 4 incoming TV streams, with any where from 1 to 4 of those streams being HD and the balance being SD. The lower the signal speed the fewer HD streams you get.
Two things can affect signal speed, distance from the VRAD and/or bad line conditions.
If you download and install UV Realtime http://www.uvrealtime.com/download.aspx and post screen shots of the IP Profile, Error Table, Bitloading, Channels/Streams, and HPNA/COAX tabs, someone here might be able to determine if you should be able to receive more HD streams or if you're suffering from line problems.

If you believe the "doom and gloom prophecies" about AT&T supposedly abandoning further hardware improvements to U-Verse, then 3 HDTVs airing different channels simultaneously (and the ability to record a fourth different channel) is all that we will get.
Keep in mind that there needs to be some major hardware work (as in "replacing underground/overhead copper lines") if you want to see major improvements. "Normal" cable TV is no better; until they improve the land lines, they have to compress the signals in order to get them all to fit into the existing wiring.

A few ideas. Turn your TVs off when you're not watching them. This includes double-checking to make sure your STB is off. As long as that power light on front of your AT&T box is on, that box is receiving a stream. If the red record light is on, that's also at least one stream in use.
If you're recording programming that you don't need to watch ASAP, try to record it during overnight hours. If you want to record a show or movie on HBO, and you don't need to watch it that next night, try to pick a time such as 3:20 AM when you'll have very few streams in use.
If you MUST record a show during a "peak" hour when a lot of TVs are on, try to limit these times to ONLY when necessary AND only one at a time.
Some shows are not in HD, even if they're on an HD channel. When this is the case, watch it on the SD channel. This may help a little bit.
Keep in mind that if you're watching something you previously recorded, that comes from a different set of streams. Most (all?) customers have the ability to stream 3 different HD shows OUT of the DVR. Something being watched FROM the DVR and ONTO that DVR-connected TV does not use any streams at all.
