HD On Demand available but....

I can't get any of the HD On Demand titles to actually play...

If you look in Free---Ent-Lifestyle----Food Network---All Programs---> Then select 'Diners BBQ'

There is a little HD logo next to 24 MIN.... But when I try to play this, the screen goes black for a bit then goes to the 'Done' screen.

There are other selections with the HD logo, and they all behave the same way.

SD programs play correctly, and yes I do subscribe to HD service.

Can anyone get these to work?

Can anyone with the new 1.2.42002.3 update try as well?

I've never seen HD on demand stuff before.....

Me either on the HD...and sounds like you just recently got your UV? Call and talk to support, it's possible something isn't 'switched on' properly (has happened to others for some features).

Ive had Uverse for a few months now and everything works ok. I just want someone

else to try to play the same show and see if it works for them.

Did you actually go to On Demand Free area and try the episode I mentioned?

I tried it, it came up blank than I hit rewind and could go to diffrent parts of the show but it would not play,just still images.

I just did and can see the program, but since it is 'HD', and I do not have HD package, I get a message that I cannot view. It didn't go black or anything, as I just don't have access to play.

So someone with HD will have to give it a try for you. Sorry.

I have HD and I tried and it wouldn't play for me at all (just a black screen) and when I used the FF, it just took me to where it said Done or Start over.

So Richard, I don't think it is you.

I too have been able to FF and REW through the show, but never actually play.

I'm wondering if the new 1.2.4002.3 update will help this...

At least it shows Uverse will have HD on demand shows eventually...

Thank you for letting us know you were experiencing problems with the VOD. We do not currently have HD VOD available and have determined that the assets that were not working properly were loaded by mistake. We have removed the problem files and have taken measures to prevent the issue going forward. Please continue to enjoy the extensive library of current content.
