Weather Channel HD

Locals on the 8's or good weather w/radar + 5 day forecast on the UBAR

MOJO HD looks like it might be interesting

MOJO is owned by the cable companies.  I doubt you will ever see it on U-verse or Satellite.

According to U-verse Barker Channel 9000, we already have SPEED-HD and FX-HD!  They've been advertising it for months!  The only problem is ... they don't really have it.

MOJOHD did seem like a pretty interesting asset when I had seen it on Comcast.  It wouldn't be bad for IPTV and/or sattelite to obtain the license for it.  But as the guy above me said, it's owned by cable providers.

Here's another vote for The Tennis Channel. I'll take a thirty day look at Uverse, but no Tennis is a deal breaker for me.

Did somebody offer you The Tennis Channel as part of your deal?  I am asking because there wer no channels offered in mine.  If they did I can understand why you are saying this is a deal breaker.

I have tried to convert my dad to UV from DTV but his wife says they're not moving unless UV gets Tennis Channel.

Yeah I wondered about that, too.  According to Wikipedia, the next season has been delayed until March 2009 due to the writer's strike.  That gives AT&T some time to get the channel.  I like the show but it's one of those "dark" gritty shows that looks like *ss in standard def.

It aired on FX and Uverse already has that channel.  Unless you are talking about FX HD.

Yes - FX has been advertising that is will be next year.   The Shield is supposed to start in September.   I keep hoping and hoping that FX HD shows up by then!!

Have you been watching the Rescue Me mini-sodes on Tuesday evening.   Some are funny... some are silly... some are warped.  They last around 5 minutes.

According to Announements, interactive weather is in Dallas/Ft worth area only as a test market.  The plan is to roll it out nationwide in 2009...
