AT&T AND SCRIPPS NETWORKS REACH FAIR PROGRAMMING AGREEMENT

Well, I just checked my guide and it is not back.  I am so mad!!!! HGTV is my favorite channel and what I watch 95% of the time.  It better get back soon or we're going back to direct tv!!!!!

The channels are back for me, but yes - the onscreen guide has yet to be updated. Hopefully that will happen quickly.

Guess I won't be calling Time Warner tomorrow morning.

I'd thank AT&T, but really, this whole thing has left a very bitter taste in my mouth. They're going to have to work long and hard to regain any sort of trust.

So thank you to Scripps for whatever part you had in restoring your programming to U-Verse. It's much appreciated.

I'm sure that many of these shows repeat throughout the week.  In addition, i'm sure you can watch these shows online.

They had no choice other than to listen.  Myself and millions of other AT&T u-verse customers would have left in droves and many already have.  I spend $150 a month for my package...do the math.  No, they are not the good guys who listened to their customers, or this wouldn't have happened in the first place.  They simply didn't anticipate the strong response to dropping the channels, nor the loss in revenue.

I just checked and the channels are working again. They aren't labeled correctly but 1450 is showing HGTV again.

Millions of U-verse customers?  U-verse only has 2.7 million TV customers.  I doubt that the vast majority of those customers would have switched providers.

I seriously doubt if millions of customers would have left.  I'm sure they were well aware of the popularity of these channels.  Niether side is innocent in this dispute.

I already scheduled hookup next week with another carrier.  I think I'm going through with leaving ATT, as Hallmark is still not back on.  I miss it, especially this time of year.

Thank you for bringing HGTV back.  I have found the Food Newwork, but not DIY and the others yet.  They are probably there.  Tomorrow will tell.  Will we ever get the Hallmark Channel back?

ROLFMAO.  I guess these OPWs haven't been keeping up with the news regarding Fox and Dish and Cablevision.  They seem to think that AT&T is the ONLY channel to go trhough a contract dispute.  I'm just glad this one is over and both sides have worked out an agreement.

I think this entire fiasco was staged between the two companies to test the waters for future negotiations to see how far they can push the customer.

 I sure wish Congress would look into these shaded practices
