How to scan favorite channels only.

I have setup my favorite channels (menu-options-channel options-favorites channels) and now I want to scan only those channels with the remote. I can't seem to get it to work, or maybe it's just not possible. So my question is, how can I scan or cycle through only the 20 or so channels I have programmed and not everything else. Is favorites just for setting up a personalized channel guide? If it is, then I'm really disappointed. Thanks.

If it's rolled out in your area, you can use the My Multiview feature to scroll through only your favorites.  (Menu -> Live TV -> My Multiview).

If this feature isn't available to you yet, it should be rolled out within the next several weeks.  It is currently rolling out market by market.

Press Menu (Live TV) and push the down arrow to select Favorites, then press OK.  If you haven't got the "My Multiview" feature yet it will take one click of the down arrow to select Favorites.  If you have "My Multiview" then because of AT&T Uverse's "infinite wisdom" (yes, I'm being sarcastic) you will need two key presses to get to your Favorites (I wish they would have put My Multiview after Favorites).

If you are looking for a way to just use the change channel button on the remote to just scan through just your Favorites, at this point there is no option to do that.  I wish there were.

You confirmed my suspicion. My other cable provider had this feature and I just assumed ATT would have it too.  Most of my favs are HD channels so I guess I'll +/- in that range. Thank you both for the replies.

You could just tailor the Guide and browser to just the channels you want:  menu>options>channel options>hide channels  follow the directions and make sure you 'save' your choices.

Thanks Chris. That's the direction I took. I hide all the channels I didn't care for and what was left resulted in the few that I did. I can now scan only my 20 favorite channels. Very labor intensive work; had to hide 550 channels and my thumbs are still sore from the workout.

If you want to add some more, go back that way and show 'view unchecked' and easily scroll to what channel you want w/the 'CH/PG' button up/down a page per click, goes real quick this way.
