Um, delete your account and stop going there?
But seriously, I'm not sure where in the NVG interface your entering those IP addresses. I was not aware web access controls was a feature the NVG had.

If you log into you NVG >homenetwork>packet filtering. Turn it on and you can choose to pass or drop packets based on packet filtering rules. It offers a drop/pass option. You can allow packets to pass through certain ports or be drop. I may be mistaken but I thought thats what packet filtering does?

Whhops its in the "firewall" options not homenetwork. You have to log in to access the option with a code on you NVG 510. Once you pick firewall below are the 4 options pick packet filtering and thats were the options are.

If I'm not mistaken, that's only an incoming packet filter and probably only inspects unsolicited traffic. Once a computer on your LAN requests a connection, the packet filter is turned off for that connection. As is, probably all it will do is stop pop-ups from facebook.

If you use firefox,
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lee
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/blo
If you want facebook widgets blocked on other pages, use the adblock or adblock plus extension with chrome or firefox and add these custom rules:
||facebook.com^$domain=~facebook.com|~facebook.net
||facebook.net^$domain=~facebook.com|~facebook.net
||fbcdn.com^$domain=~facebook.com|~facebook.net|~f
||fbcdn.net^$domain=~facebook.com|~facebook.net|~f
Those should block all facebook stuff on non-facebook sites. Except on sites you've whitelisted in adblock.
