INTERNET KEEPS GOING OFF AND BACK ON EVERY FEW MINS [ Edited ]

OK to start with i have problems as soon as i switched from your dsl to u-verse every week i have a tech come out to the house to solve my problem and every time after he leaves he tells me its fixed the next day it starts with the problem all over again the internet keeps going down every few mins the service light starts flashing and the internet light starts flashing after a few mins of that everything will go back to normal only to last a few more mins then go down i have spent countless hours on the phone have had more than 10 techs come to the house still the same problem and no one wants to help i have come on your face book page raising he!! and countless customer service people tell me that its line trouble now i started doing some research on the internet when i can use it to fine out im not the only one with the same problem most people say the Motorola nvg510 is the problem now im going to post the logs from it in the hopes that someone will have the answers PLEASE HELP I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR OVER 6 YEARS OR MORE

update spent 3 hours on the phone with at&t the rep said that tier2 was busy for the next 30 mins but she would call me back now it is 10:16 still no call im just going to go to bed and see if they call tomorrow (yea right)

babboni - Try changing your computer network preference DNS server to google - 8.8.8.8.

I don't think the Google DNS will help. The unavailabilty of the DNS server is likely due to the loss of connection as indicated by the flashing service light.

Out of all those tech visits no one replaced the modem?

Did they run a new dedicated line to the modem?

Replace all your filters?

Can you post a screen-shot of the line stats (sync rates, noise margin, etc.) from the modem while it is connected?

What speed was your old DSL and what speed is your new Uverse supposed to be?

What did they say was the problem on those visits, and what did they say they did to resolve it?

It does not sound like they did any of the standard things.

each time they said they found a broken wire on the at&t side of the box . one time they said a squirrel chewed thru the line. they changed the port at the main office in my town . but they said a broken line was the problem they used the most

Every time I connect my laptop to the internet. The desk top loses connectivity. Only had U-Verse internet 2 week. Spending hour on phone with tech support. I am not computer savy. I need some simple answers and less tech-talk. Can someone tell me what the problem is in plain simple english?

ok well at&t tech came by the house and brought me a new modem and router separate he told me the nvg510 was the problem all along after i hooked up the new modem and new router the problem has not happened he said that tech knows the modems have a problem but will not fix them so if you have this problem demand a new modem and make sure its not the nvg510

Did the make you pay for the new modem/router? I'm having very similar issues with my NVG510
