Interactive Menu

I really like all the improvements and additons coming on Uverse. But I was kind of hoping they would come up with a jump menu such as the one they have with the zoom menu, for the Interactive services so it would be easier and quicker to access these items. Just a thought....

Yup, I woulda thought Media Share would have been available through the "Go Interactive" button (U-bar), guess that made too much sense.

I like the new Interactive menu better, more organized.

Would be helpful to assign a channel # to MediaShare.

IMO, they should reprogram the GO INTERACTIVE and Yellow A Button for the new Interactive menu. That would take you to not just Ubar, but everything else.

I wasn't surveyed. (Only been a customer for two weeks).

So far, I don't need a button for the U-Bar as it's just about worthless, AFAIC. I could very much go for the Interactive button going to the Interactive Menu, and let the U-Bar be a choice on that.

And, OBTW, I played with Media Share for the first time last night. Very cool.

Yeah but it ins't cool enough to share video files and Windowz media sharing sucks because it can't seem to pull in all 46,000+ music files I have. So I went and bought a Seagate FreeAgent+. It's doing the job! Haven't found a file it won't play!

MediaShare can only use mp3 files, problem for me using iTunes and everything Apple Lossless. Converted everything with mp3 copies, then iTunes couldn't find the mp3s because MediaShare changes the name. Ended up going back to Apple Lossless. Maybe they'll eventually get MS to accept other formats.

I actually use TVersity in addition to WMP. I don't use iTunes, Rhapsody or any other music management program. I have my music stored on a second HD in my PC (thanks for the birthday present, last Spring, hon) and I have the files in Folders in a "music" folder on that drive and about 120 subfolders. Using TVersity and selecting "folders" in MS's drop down, I see them all. Cool!

46,000? Hmpf! I thought that I had alot at 12,000 Many of mine, however are non commercial music / audio files, such as vintage radio jingles and airchecks, speeches and so on.

My MS under TVersity, plays FLAC and several other formats.
