Janky reception (more picture freezing)

I was just watching Jurassic Park in one room and went to peek in on the NBA playoffs in the den.  The screen kept freezing for a few seconds at a time.  I would check and see that the other TV was frozen as well.  Then both TV's froze and stayed that way for about 10 minutes.  I was here checking to see if anyone was reporting similar incidents. LOL!

So I just reset the box on both TV's and waited until the picture came back up which it eventually did.  That tip was posted on the Pistons Official site somewhere.  Apparently, AT&T had been getting a lot of complaints from fans about the picture freezing on channel 737 at the start of games.  They didn't offer a reason...just this workaround.

I also have that problem, lately, with the picture breaking up.  Been trying not to call but things are getting worse.

Same problem here - I think they must be having some issues tonight.  Mine froze for about 10 minutes, I just let it sit there and it eventually picked back up.  A few stutters here and there but I'm not sure if thats the network or ATT.

If your picture is breaking up you should call and get an answer / get it corrected.  What kind of television / box are you using?  Some of the motorola HD boxes get a little weird if you are using HDMI and I think that's a fairly well known issue.

Mine here in the Detroit was goofy too about 9pm, I kept trying to get on Versus HD to watch hockey and it let me on at first then froze up although I could go back to Speed HD.  Tried Versus SD and same thing, thought it was blacked out because we get Channel 9 CBC here in the Detroit area that carries the NHL, but about 10 minutes later I checked Versus SD and it worked (I was recording 2 HD programs at the time).  No errors and nothing different in system info.

Same thing happened here, kinda' messed up my recording of Mythbuster's Demolition Derby.

They are running the episodes again, I'm recording them again.  Oh well.

I missed it the 1st time and glad I saw your post, it's on again 12 mid EDT and I'm gonna record it then, you could record this one and delete the goofed up one.
