If you are reading this post, you may have encountered the same problem that I have with my Mac OS. I recently had U Verse install wireless router Motorola NGV510. I have been using it for my Smart TV, Ipad, Mac Book Air, and other electronic devices. At first, my service worked great - super fast, use of multiple devices simultaneously, etc.
A few days after installating, I noticed that Safari was not loading images and videos on most web pages. I tried installing Mozilla Firefox, hoping for a difference, however Firefox was responding the same as Safari.
I went ahead and did everything I thought would help load the images:
- empty cache
- delete history / cookies
- unistall / reinstall Safari and my Router
- changes numerous wireless setting in my Network Preferences
After none of the above helped, I realized that I was not the only one having this same issue. I spent hours browing Apple and AT&T forums, reading and experimenting with the suggestions provided by the hundreds of furious customers who just wanted a solution.
I came across this blog that explained everything clearly. This guy actually created several blog posts just to fix this small problem that exists with Macs and the Motorala router.

SOLUTION TO LOAD IMAGES:
AT&T is aware of this issue, and provided me with a fresh router, however the new router was equally unreliable. What finally worked for me was editing the following information in my Network Preferences with one EASY step:
Chage your DNS Servers from the AT&T ones to the Google servers:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
I changed my DNS Servers two days ago and have since seen a major difference with my web browing. Images load quickly and videos stream really fast.
I hope this helps you if you are having the same problem I did. Lets hope that AT&T will update the Motorala router soon... this problem is happening to thousands of people. I do not uderstand why I had to figure this out on my own, this process can be clearly explained and resolved within the AT&T website!
