I am beginning to feel this way also. However, I still feel it is necessary for AT&T U-Verse subscribers to use this medium, whatever it's effectiveness may be.
So, for the n-th time:
Will AT&T management please consider adding NASA-TV to it's lineup? Having said that, I will now go to NASA-TV to watch a LIVE SPACEWALK on www.nasa.gov, on a tiny laptop, instead of watching it on AT&T U-Verse on my TV set.
Hint - Hint to AT&T Marketing geniuses: I'm not watching (using) your product, I'm watching something else that is very, very interesting that you don't have.

Do you have U-Verse internet? If so, you're still using their product.

I would like to view NASA-TV on my television set in the living room, and frankly, that is not too much to ask considering that I watched it regularly there on Direct TV, before switching to T&T U-Verse.
My friend, you are missing an obvious point. You must work for AT&T, because you don't particularly want or care to get it.

You know, you have a POINT: maybe we should cancel subscriptions to U-Verse and just watch TV on the internet. That would be cheaper, wouldn't it?

I understand your point. I was just asking, because I don't think the "I'm not using your product" line really works if you are, indeed, using their product. Not sure why you felt the need to say I didn't want or care to get it.
