Did any one else have issues with watching anything on NBC HD. At two different houses with Uverse, there were issues while watching Losing It With Jillian. Both houses have a sync rate of 53,000+, are wired by ethernet, and are on the 3/1 profile.

Well...yes....we did have a problem with sound and video drop outs earlier this evening. But we had a raging electrical storm.....hellish winds and 1.6 inches of rain in about 30 minutes. Might have been some power problems to critical equipment? These kinds of drop outs are VERY unusual for us. Storm is over now and all is OK.

You mean people actually watch NBC? Didn't realize they had any viewers since they have been in the bottom of all ratings for the past several years.

I belielve their downlink is in the KC area. When you see a channel go down or pixelate, take a look at the weather in that area. It's rare for the signals to go down but, occaisionally they do get degraded when hit by heavy rains and thunderstorms. This can also occur at the signal uplink centers, which are scattered all over the country. i.e. ESPN is in Bristol CT.

If a channel goes down on UV it is not because of a terrestrial transmission problem. Since the programming is delivered in streams of internet packets. There would only be a loss due to interruption of the signal flow. Which would mean down lines, or hubs. As stated in the previous post.

Wow. A period after every thought. It gets really hard to read the post. If you know what I am saying.

Some would have written it like this:

Feel free to just re-word a post in any way you see fit. You don't have to quote mine. I thought my explanation was just fine, but if anyone got confused I wouldn't have any problem making a statement clearer.
