Hoping this reaches someone in customer relations....
Just had my install 4 days ago, and already giving serious consideration to switching back to Comcast. Two primary issues:
1 - when watching and HD channel on-demand, the video feed will stutter, stop, and/or lose audio. It's as if you are watching a video over the Internet that hasn't buffered. Tried pausing, re-starting, rebooting system...nothing helps. Tech Support ran a diagnostic and didn't find a problem. On-site support scheduled for this week - we'll see what they can do.
2 - only ONE HD stream available. I don't understand how this is possible in my neighborhood (Fort Lauderdale, FL) -where everything for U-Verse seems to be newly installed by ATT. This also was not explained during the sales or install process. Couldn't figure out why I could not schedule more than one HD recording at a time...then last night, in the middle of watching an HD program...had to stop as an HD recording was beginning. Called tech support, and they confirmed I was only set-up for 1HD/3SD...and could not even get me to 2HD/2SD. This is a HUGE disappointment, especially since I have to pay extra for HD service. Why do I pay the same rate for 1HD/3 SD streams, as a customer with 3HD/1SD streams? I can't believe that if I am watching an HD program, I can not record an HD program - this seems absurd.
If issue #1 cannot be resolved, I will almost certainly switchback. If it can be resolved, I still need to give careful thought to issue #2 - can ATT tell me when I might expect an upgrade in my neighborhood? Watching a large screen HDTV in SD mode is not very good..Especially when I am paying $10 to watch in HD.
Thanks.

This is a user to user forum, it's possible someone from ATT might read your post but they are not allowed to respond.
As far as your issues go, it sounds like you might be at the max distance from the VRAD thus you are only able to get 1HD/3SD. ATT is in the process of implementing "pair bonding" which should increase the effective distance and allow you 2HD/2SD profile.
