New Years Eve Uverse TV Countdown to Hysterics!!!!

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!!! Midnight! Happy New Year!!! Ooops--- Did Current tv just go off my screen? What? I have to upgrade to U-300? It's 12:00 and 3 seconds---shouldn't 211/1211 Fox Business channel be available to U200? Where are the Viacom channels??? It's 12:32 AM and I have rebooted 16 times looking for changes!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!

Probably most likely everything will fine all Viacom channels will be there the only thing have lost is WWE classics .

I'm already hysterical - they really did pull WWE Classics On Demand at midnight Central on Friday night!

Hopefully, nobody in Stamford, CT (where WWE is located) is going to treat this as a sign that AT&T doesn't want WWE Network on U-Verse (especially if they follow through with the plan to make all (or even just some) of the PPVs other than the "Big Four" (WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble) available for free on that channel. (I'll even give switching to U-300 semi-serious thought if they end up putting it there.)

Sorry. I know I am hated on this board for worrying so much about Viacom. But I have been reassured by AT&T that MTV is not going off, so I have to assume no other Viacoms will either. I love U-Verse and a love this forum. Thaks for putting up with my bull, and I, more than anyone, am ready to move on now!

I heard U-verse has begun negations with the WWE network the WWE plans to cancel the ondemand service all together when there network launches in April .

What about using the other 18 threads concerning possible New Year's changes? Give it a rest. Whatever happens tomorrow will happen. What are people going to do if all of their channels are still there tomorrow? All of the worry and hysterics were for nothing.Owning a computer and not having the internet is like buying a refrigerator and not stocking it with food.

Why not send them a nice Hallmark card? I'm sure they've got one now for businesses from customers who've been a pain in the rear to say thank you/sorry, since they've got unemployment greeting cards they're peddling.

Too bad Viacom won't allow ATT or any other TV Providers to let their customers to Pick and Choose Network what networks they willing to pay for. I would keep TVland, Comedy Central. and Dump All Their TV Reality networks All for the MTVs, VH1, Spike, CMT, BET

I actually like Spike because i like watching TNA and i like VH1 but the main MTV channel i could live with out i am sick of the Jersey Shore but i do like MTV Hits and Jams .

If Viacom "previewed" the pan-European version of MTV Hits and the French MTV Base (their MTV Jams) on those channels, US viewers would opt for the European versions over the crappy US ones. I still don't know how US audiences put up with such lowbrow stuff. There is no comparison between our versions and those. Maybe because over in Europe, MTV Networks doesn't have a market-lock on music video channels like here. When there's competition, things are different (and I don't call FUSE "competition" -- they barely keep the lights on over there).

However, MTV itself, no matter what part of the world, is the same. No getting away from Snooki's bedhopping no matter what language.
