Looking for some real help.....
Just had Uverse installed, and since the system was down during installation, I didn't get to get "training" while the installer was here.
Soooo....just curious if there was anyway to "turn off" the internet connection to my computer in the event that I am gone for an extended period of time or on vacation. I just noticed that it is always "on".
Thanks all!

Yeah that's correct. Just turn-off your computer/laptop. There is actually no way of turning off the internet service on the RG unless the RG is out of sync. By that time I believe all of your services will be down. Anyways, as long as you keep your Wireless Network Key no one can connect to your wireless service.

not all tier 1s' are idiot...there are some of them that dnt know what to do especially if they are just knew to the company just like what happened to my case where the guy told me that he was new to the company and not very familiar with all the issues. just give them time to search and they'll surely resolve your issues.
tier 1s' became tier 2s' and tier 2s' wer once tier 1s'.

T4S when you have some spare time read through some of the other posts. You may not understand what they are talking about at first but if you spend a little time every week you will become knowledgable after a while. Their are some really smart people here that don't make you feel stupiid when they post. Enjoy their work.
I strongly second that motion. ( see above). Why.. I've gone from knowing nothing to knowing next to nothing!![]()
