No you did not miss it. It is not in any of the TV packages. I too, am hopeful that it will be added before the next season. I would also love to see NBA League Pass as an available option. I guess we'll have to wait and see....

I just got ATT U-verse here in San Diego. So far I am impressed, but you can also put me on the list for NBA League Pass. I definitely want the option to buy this package for the 2007-08 season.

Does ATT notfiy us when new channels are added to the line-up or do they magically appear?

Add me to the list who want NBA League Pass!  With the new big 3 playing for the Celtics it is a good time to watch them even though I live 2000 miles from Boston.

Me too. I am not yet a subscriber, but would become one if this happened. I recently received a special offer in the mail that expires 9/30/07, so I'll be scanning these boards until then looking for news on this.

Are there plans to add NBA TV?  The out of market games will be blacked out on Fox.  So give us NBA TV and add it in HD.

A couple of weeks ago.  I found NBA TV on a test channel on Uverse but it's no longer there.  Did anyone else catch that?

I emailed customer support about whether NBA League Pass would be available for the 2007-2008 season and got this rather generic answer.

So it doesn't look promising for having NBA League Pass at the start of the season. Bummer... maybe they will cut a deal at the last minute.

I'm just hoping they get NBA TV going.  Some games will play on there that are not played anywhere else.  NBA TV HD will be a plus!

As long as there is enough of an uproar about not having this, I wouldnt' doubt them getting it at the last minute. Think back to BTN extra feeds and TBS HD....

I need to see the Wiz play and am in total shock that the place I will be moving to only has Uverse availble (from what they told me).

They need to get this available ASAP!!!!

We NBA fans are still waiting for NBA TV. Anyone hear any rumors about a possible/projected start date? The NBA season starts next month.

Last time I talked to some of the sports programming guys for AT&T, they said NBAtv even has a channel number set aside for it, but they were waiting to finalize contracts and possibly for some of the network upgrades they have coming on their end soon. 

Anyways, it's in the works - just have to be patient... same for nhl network, mlb network, center ice, league pass, extra innings, etc...

Well that sounds like good news.  I hope they can get it done by the start of the season, which is 5 weeks away.  I'm trying to decide if I need NBA League Pass bad enough to go back to Time Warner.

The way things have gone in the past, AT&T is usually working to grant the requests but they don't openly announce that they are working on it.  And then the channel either shows up with an announcement here in the forum, or on the updates channel, or the U-guide.  And they may come after the channel has been added for awhile.

This is BS.  I walked into AT&T store for a cell phone issue and was sold on U-Verse.  Being a long time Laker fan I specifically asked if they had the NBA League Pass, answer: Yes.  Now I learn that they don't have the NBA.  If U-Verse doesn't offer league pass by tip-off of the Laker's first game of the regular season, I'm switching back to Cox.
