Peachtree TV-Braves games on FSN?

Excellent question as I would also like to know.  Last year I swore I would switch to Direct TV, or other provider, solely for this reason.  May have to go through with it this year.

I think U-Verse still has Peachtree and SportsSouth i know Dish had carriage dispute with Peachtree i would like to see ATT carry the Braves channel which is in HD .

even more riduculous is that AT&T U-verse is a major sponsor on the PTV broadcasts.....also, whenever ESPN shows the Braves, & the game is on PTV, the games are blacked-out, even tho we cant see it anyway

To clarify, the original post is about ATT Uverse refusing to pay the premium, fee, etc. to FSN to simulcast the Braves games on the Peachtree network outside of the metro Atlanta area.  For those of us in other area, I am in Alabama, we are in the Braves area but do not have access to Peachtree TV.  With the new production of Braves game for the Peachtree Network by FSN, Peachtree has agreed to let FSN simulcast the games on their station outside of the Atlanta area.  With this, FSN charges a fee to the cable networks to be able to provide that feed to their customers.  Last year ATT Uverse would not pay that fee.  For those of us outside of the Peachtree coverage area, we could only watch the simulcast on cable providers, like Direct or Comcast, that would pay the extra fee.  Uverse customers are not afforded the luxury.

I believe your statement is correct that Uverse still carries Peachtree, but that only applies to those in the Atlanta area.

I'm holding out hope that the game is the MLB baseball game showing up at 730 on alt 3 in the 600's. I pay At&t a lot more than I would be paying if I were on time warner. What's a complete joke is I get every single Reds game and they're 3 hours further away than Atlanta who is in my market.

I'm seriously ticked off that At&t who sponsors braves baseball is casting this off like it's our problem. The braves are one most popular teams in sports let alone baseball and as a true fan, I will stop at nothing to watch them; even if that means getting time warner cable.

MLB defines team territories based on viewer zipcode. Blame MLB for the fact that you get Reds games.

AT&T pays the Braves (maybe MLB) a huge chunk of money to display their logos in the stadia and to be called "the official....". That does not translate to what a viewer can and cannot watch.

All is good, I'm a bigger college football fan and every panthers game is on Fox anyways. I hope ATT get's their act together soon, I know a ton of bars around here us ATT and don't get braves games on friday nights because those are peachtree games.

That's very odd.  I don't know any bars that use AT&T U-verse.  Most bars that I know of use DirecTV because they have the exclusive for NFL Sunday Ticket.

Also, all Panthers games would not be on Fox.  Their games might be on Fox if they are not hosting an AFC team in which case the game will likely to be on CBS.  Also, some games night be picked up on NBC Sunday Night Football, ESPN or the NFL Network.  The ESPN and NFL Network games would also be shown on a local channel in the markets of the competing teams.

This is a nationwide dispute with Fox Sports. In S CA we have blacked out Angels games. Why should we pay the extra $ to get the sports package if our favorite games are blacked out. If we all cancel our extra coverage maybe Fox and ATT will get serious.

Football games are not what I worry about being able to watch, didn't miss a game all last year when I used an antanna. My problem is I can't watch a quarter or more of the braves baseball games on Uverse when I pay double for it.

I am in Knoxville, Tennessee and have U-Verse 300, HD Premium and the Sports Package upgrade. The Atlanta Braves are listed as the "home" team for my zip code. I am NOT getting games that are scheduled (per the on screen program guide) as they are "Blacked Out".   

So as my spouse simmers over the fact that we are missing games, the boil over happens when she calls our COMCAST neighbors and they are watching the games she is missing.

I need a bit of assistance on this, as my decision to go with  AT&T way is now under significant assault!   It was bad enough when University of Tennessee athletic events were missed due to the fact that U-Verse carries no sub-channels (Comcast does) but this Blacked Out Braves debacle is a deal breaker!

When the new kid on the block (U-Verse)  was being sold door-to-door , I was promised MORE . . . but I am getting less.  Is there a fix coming on this soon?   I know that a deal was recently done,  allowing AT&T to carry all the St. Louis Cardinal games.  I feel confident that my wife is not the only jilted Braves fan in the "U-Verse"

Any good news for me?

I get all the Detroit Red Wings, Pistons, Tigers games (DetFS), all the Nascar racing I want (Fox, TNT, ABC/ESPNs), the Tour de France (1640),  Soccer (1654) and many more, all on Uverse.

I get all the sports I want, Rangers, Stars, Mavs Astros on FSSW and Nascar, on Fox, ESPN, TNT and ABC as well as professional Football on Fox, CBS, ABC and ESPN, and NFL Network,  plus all the college football any one can watch on the RSN, as well as the Big Ten Network, ABC, CBS and ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU.

Why are you still posting on a U-Verse forum? From all of your negative posts, it is obvious that you totally dislike U-Verse, and have an agenda to put it in a negative light whenever you can.

You have never answered the question about which television provider you use. If you are still a U-Verse subscriber, with all of your evident rage and hate against the serivce, then obviously you did not know what to do.

Switched from comcast to AT&T. Advertiser braves games but thier not there. Cancelling AT&T going back to comcast.

Kind of tired of watching POKER on Fox SS when TWC customers in Charlotte can watch the Braves.

Since you have already indicated that you are switching to TWC, you should probably focus on your new TV provider and  no longer be concerned with what you see as the shortcomings of U-verse.
