what is your current speed with comcast?
Mesaurement is static, ie if you get 6 mb from comcast and 6 mb from att they are the same thing

Well, they advertise 6mb but it's more like two. I guess my question is that is the 6mb from Uverse a true 6?

The biggest difference would be the upload speed (U-verse 10Meg gives you a 1.5Mbps upload, versus 768k with the 6Meg). I like it because I access my home network via VPN, and double the upload at home means twice as fast (well, sorta) at the receiving end.
