Random connection cut-outs dealing with xbox 360

I have noticed during afternoon hours that my U-verse Highspeed Internet cut-out while people are playing on the Xbox 360. I'm not sure why, but i'm thinking along the lines of my connection becomes overloaded because we have 2 PC's, 2 laptops, 1 smartphone and an Xbox 360 all hooked up to one internet line. Is this the problem or could it be that we just need a new modem?

Which U-verse internet package do you have?  Are all of those devices accessing the internet at the same time?

We just have U-verse High Speed, not all at the same time, I've actually turned off everything except for the Xbox and it still does it so i dont know if its because of the xbox or what.

Let's see...Uverse High Speed Internet Elite, Modem is a 2WIRE 3800HGV-B

Are you using Wireless?  I see you said smartphone on the same Ethernet, but guess that means Wireless from that line?

Yeah we have a Belkin Wireless Router hooked up to it as well

OK, and is the Xbox using Wi-Fi when the cut-outs happen?

Is the Xbox using the Belkin, and the Wi-Fi is disabled on the Uverse router?

Yes its using the wirless connection on the router and i checked the wireless on the Gateway and it's been on.

It sounds like Wi-Fi is enabled on both routers? 

If so, disable Wi-Fi on the UV RG, and just use the Belkin's.
