We just got our U-Verse connected on Friday and have one DVR and one wireless receiver. Everything is SD. My question is this: say three shows are scheduled to record. Which TV is then free? Can I set which one has a live stream? Also, am I correct to assume the TV without the live stream can watch anything already recorded, the shows actively recording or something on On Demand? Could they also watch the channel the other TV is watching?
If it helps to understand my way of thinking, I used to have Dish, where I set my recordings to specific tuners/TVs.

I also had Dish prior to U-verse, so I understand what you are asking. U-verse is not like Dish in that you do not designate a TV that a program is recorded on. With U-verse, all recordings occur on the one DVR.
If 3 programs are recording, whatever TV accesses the remaining live stream, will get it. The live stream can be used to watch another live channel or On Demand programming. More than one TV can tune to the same channel. When 2 or more TV's are watching the same channel, that counts as the use of a single stream.
When all 4 streams are in use, you have 3 streams available to watch recorded programs on the TV's connected to the non-DVR receivers. You can also watch a recorded program on the TV connected to the DVR.
