I've been trying to see if I could configure a 2nd subnet on my DD-WRT WRT54G behind the 3600HGV RG but without using DMZ+ mode. I'd like to be able to sort various incoming ports to some decvices that are attached directly to the RG and maybe others to the WRT54G and its hosts.
I tried configuring the WRT54G with a static IP in Router (vice Gateway) mode. No joy. No matter what I did I could not ping out to or past the WRT54G. As soon as I dropped it back into Gateway mode with dynamic configuration it worked in DMZ+ mode again. I think I'm missing some essential piece of the puzzle. Anyone?
