More like brought to you by a disgruntled former U-verse TV customer.

No reason to be a disgruntled former customer of any TV service provider. If you enjoy your new service provider, focus on enjoying your new service and stop looking back at your old service provider. I switched from Dish Network to U-verse in May 2009 and have not looked back. Enjoy today. Life is too short to spend it living in the past.

It is amusing how people tout the quality of another providers service over Uverse but they continue to be a subscriber of Uverse. If I discovered that I liked my former provider more than Uverse the way some people talk, I would go back. Whether or not there was an early cancellation penalty or not. That would be cheaper than paying for a service I didn't like for 1 or 2 years.

Well I don't think about it on a day-to-day basis. I do however stop by here occasionally mainly for the Internet forum as I am still a U-verse customer. When I saw someone post about their DISH experience, I had a similar experience, thus, I shared my anecdote.
Thanks for the advice though. Don't be mad, opinions are opinions.
EDIT: True I should have switched sooner but I was taking advantage of the promotions I had at the time and forgive me but I'm lazy I didn't feel like re-hooking up 5 TV's throughout a house when I had just got them switched to another provider. All in all though, my method was still cheaper.

I didn't realize you discontinued the TV part?

The issue I have most with Hide Channels is that if I want to Hide a new channel in the 1000's I have to Page Down numerous times to get to that channel. Then I have to do this on each box. It's a time consuming process.
If you could manage hiding/unhiding channels online or just enter a channel on the Hide menu and jump there it would make it much more tolerable.
Luckily you don't have to do this too often once you initially get it setup the way you want it, but it's an extremely slow process.
