After reading the messages that you post on the forum, it's hard for me to understand why you are still a U-verse customers. You have made it clear that you want MLB Network which AT&T does not carry and has stated that it will not be added this year. Since this channel seems to be a deal breaker for you, why not move to a TV provider that offers it and save yourself some stress?

First, I'm not stressed by any strech of the imagination. I like some aspects of U-verse such as the THDVR. So rather than keep switching services I'm hoping by constant complaining, writing , phone calls and recruiting others to do the same, we'll get some results. It seemed to work for the Tennis Channel. If you don't complain you'll never get results. Not what I can't understand are the people who keep complaining about the people who are trying to accomplish something. If you don't like to read posts about people complaining , here is something real simple-DON'T READ THE POSTS.

I agree with Texas guy. You can whine and complain till your blue in the face; type until your fingers can't type anymore, but I suggest you call and have the rep fill out the channel request form. Do that EVERYDAY, show a commitment to whining and do something constructive about it, logging complaints here is like the little boy crying wolfe, too many, too often. CALL them EVERYDAY and make the rep fill the form out. If you want to "accomplish" something do that. You say, DON'T READ THE POSTS; what do you think they are doing, NOT reading your posts.

Complain away! Knock yourself out. It's your time.
It took U-verse about 4 years to add the Tennis Channel. It took over 3 1/2 years to add CBS College Sports. Posting messages on the forum appear to have had little impact on the speed of adding those channels.
Are you willing to wait another 2 1/2 years for U-verse to add the MLB Network? The only statement that AT&T has made about the MLB Network is that it will not be added this year.
If one channel was that important to me, I would not wait around constantly hoping and pestering the TV provider to add it. I would change to another provider and be done with it. I don't spin my wheels when there are other options.
By the way, I actually like reading your messages requesting the MLB Network. They are actually rather entertaining.

Now I know why Paul416 complains all the time. He's a Cubs fan... they have a reason to complain and be grouchy... what's it been -- 100 yrs since they won?

I was excited to see U-verse added the Tennis Chanel until I read that I would have to upgrade to get it. I can't justify the additional cost just to get the Tennis Channel, and I am not particularly interested in the additional channels.
I guess I will just continue to watch the Tennis Channel on my neighbor's dish, and live stream the matches on my lap top. The only reason I have U verse TV is I have a bundle for Internet, Phone and TV. If my employer stops paying for my home office land line, I'll probably switch to dish.

True. On Dish Network, the Tennis Channel is only on it's highest tier: America's Top 250.

OPW strikes again!
I don't know if we are too feel sorry for him that he has to upgrade to see the TC, or that he has to stream it to his LT, or he gets his employer to pay for his LL, OR HIS NEIGHBOR who gets to pay for the TC on Dish???
My last question, Does he bring the adult beverage??? :-)

All you need to do is add the Sports Package for $10. You do not need to upgrade your regular package.

Can I get a monthly $10 credit if I agree to let ATT lock us out of all the sports channels in U450? I get tired of hiding them in my Guide! ![]()
Glad people got what they wanted, hope we can put this to rest.
