So, you are adding the Oprah channel. I don't need it and won't watch it. Why don't you settle with Hallmark.
That's a channel that I and my friends used to watch a lot. Are you going to reduce our monthly rate because you take off channels? Mayve we can get a better deal from Time Warner or Dish! We don't HAVE to subscribe to you if you don't treat us right.

If you read these forums you will see that Hallmark channel is in a world of hurt namely the lack of duckies.
It is not the fault of AT&T it is Hallmark trying to hold us up.
So if you wand to leave please do so quietly but remember where ever you go Hallmarks problems will follow you and when your new suppliers contract is up you will be in the same boat and sinking again

If you are so unhappy, then call Time Warner or Dish tomorrow morning, and sign a contract with them. With U-Verse, there is no contract so there is nothing keeping you here.
I would hope that you read Shoe's response to your post, and stay. It has been posted all over this forum about the bad financial situation that Crown Media (the owner of the Hallmark channels) has gotten itself into.
I forgot, what was that monthly rate that someone figured out that Hallmark cost? Wasn't it like 3 cents a month?
Owning a computer and not having the internet is like buying a refrigerator and not stocking it with food.

Doesn't really matter whether you watch it or not. You're going to get it. All providers are going to have the OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network). At least she has smarts enough to do it right unlike Crown Media who paid way to much for Martha and are now on the verge of bankruptcy.

Discovery Health is going away and being replaced by OWN. It really has nothing to do with Hallmark ch. but thanks for playing, there is a parting gift at the door as you leave. Concerning your question on rates. Perhaps they will lower your bill for the loss of hallmark, but while you are asking for that .3 cents, you may want to ask if you are being charged for the addition of over 20 chanels this year. I saw TWC has a 33.33 deal for each service if you bundle it. I suggest you call and see what they can do for you. Good luck with your new provider. I think when I said Discover Health is going away, it was the channel, not just on U-Verse, so you will get OWN on TWC too. ![]()
