U-verse wireless gateway not found (iPad app remote feature)

I'm trying to connect the iPad app to my receiver and I am getting the error U-verse wireless gateway not found. I am using an Asus router that is hooked up to my uverse router. Does anyone know how to get this to work? I have tried restarting the receiver and that doesn't work and I am signed in properly because I can see all my recorded shows. Thanks

The only way I could get it to work was to switch the iPad from the inner network (in your case, your Asus) to the wireless network of the gateway (the RG) when I want to use the iPad for the U-verse control app and back when I want to access things on my inner network.

If you set the Asus up as bridged it should work.

That wasn't an option for me, as the subordinate router was on a static IP for reasons unrelated to the app. It might be a solution for Rain1422, though.

@ Jessiern819: I had the same problem after unplugging my RG during a room remodel. I spent 1+ hours with TS last night and went through several tier 1 and 2 reps.

Long story short: reset your receiver(s) and then try again. It worked for me. I now have all 3 iPhones and 3 iPads working with both of my receivers.

I had thought to reset my RG and my mobile devices but not the receivers for some reason. Hope this helps
