When you are saving them, add the date (Sept0310) to the bit loading, stats, etc portion of the file name. That way they are not overwritten and are separate files. ![]()

OK, then it's not the problem.
I'll go back to your instructions and make sure I have the RG ports set properly and report back.
BTW, don't know if you fixed coax devices on the Channels/Streams tab, but they have been showing up for 2 days in a row, both on XP/wired and 7/wireless.

Have the RG set to 8080, so I don't know where TM is getting that Port; any ideas?
TM might be reporting the source port for outbound.
When UVRT starts up, the first thing it does after gathering statistics for the first time is report line statistics to my database server. It will open a connection to my server on destination port 443. The source port on your computer is randomly chosen, so it could conceivably have been 49559.

I made a major change this weekend on how channel database updates are done.
Previously, I was keeping them in a large Excel spreadsheet. When new channels needed to be added, I'd have to add them to the spreadsheet, then copy the data out of there and manually generate a new channelDB.dat file. After that I had to update the uverserealtime.com web site with the new info, and then make posts on the 3 UVerse forums.
The channel data is now being kept in a SQL database that I update semi-automatically. When the SQL database gets updated, it automatically generates a new channelDB.dat file and updates the web site. This makes it far easier to insert channel updates.
Because the frequency with which channel database updates will probably increase, I'm no longer going to post in the U-Verse Realtime Master Thread when the channelDB has been updated. If you want to verify what version of the channel database is the latest, please check the www.uverserealtime.com web site, the current channel database version is displayed in the sidebar on the left. You can compare that to the channel database version reported in U-Verse Realtime on the About tab.

SJ, I am connected wired at my sis-inlaws house. I ran the app to see if I could see my home service. The last upgrade included this feature didn't it?

Well, you don't run the app there. The app needs to be running at your house on one of your computers, with the web server turned on, and the web URL allowed through your firewall.
Then you can use a web browser at your sis-inlaws house to bring up the web pages using the "Outside URL". (Or use a web browser on a smartphone).

Coax/HPNA
I was going through the readme file and starting to rename the MAC address's to "Friendly " names, and at least in my case subtracting a hex 01 from the rightmost octet resulted in the actual MAC address reported in the "Channels/Streams" tab and on the 192.168.1.254 Settings/Lan tab.
Whether my setup is unique I can't say, but if it holds true that subtracting a hex 01 give the correct MAC address Folks wouldn't have to unplug a STB and wait for the 5 minutes in the instructions to ascertain which MAC address belongs to what STB.
Possibly if a user supplies a friendly name in the "Channels/Streams" tab the program could automatically add a hex 01 to the last octet, locate the corresponding MAC address in the :Coax/HPNA' tab and update the friendly name there too.
Maybe you can put this information to some good use. ![]()
![]()
Edit:
Once I finished friendly-izing the STBs, what was left was one MAC address with 5 destinations, 1 each to my 5 STBs, assuming that is the RG I named it such.

Some STBs are like that (have sequential MAC addresses for Ethernet and HPNA interfaces) but others are not. It depends on the manufacturer (Cisco or Motorola) and when the STB was manufactured.

SJ, wanted to let you know I got it working now! Windows Firewall was NOT set to allow on the Public side (XP).
Put a new HDD in this weekend and (finally!) loaded 7 on there, same deal w/Port 80; so just changed to 8080 and it works great! And TM is gone now, so don't have that to deal with.![]()
7 laptop is working as well, love it!
Thanks for steering me in the right direction!
REALLY appreciate your making this for us to use...puts the RG's interface to shame for monitoring purposes.

AT&T saw fit to change the multicast IP of about 40 channels this week.
I've put out 5 new channel databases today to get all of the changes, and I think there's still a few that aren't yet in there. I basically had to audit all of the channels to tell if I got them all, but there's certain ones I can't get (foreign language packages, West feeds of many channels, most Fox sports regional HD channels).
If you see missing channels in the database, please submit them through UVRT.
If you see an incorrect channel in the database, please post that here or PM me so I can fix it.
I have a new mechanism I'm going to try to implement in the next version of UVRT that will automatically submit unknown channels and corrections to existing channels without any user interaction. This will greatly enhance the accuracy and scope of the channel database.

I need some assistance from someone with an i3812V (iNID) who has coax-connected STBs.
Please pull up the following page in your web browser:
http://192.168.1.254/xslt?PAGE=C_2_5
Now, scroll down to the middle of the page where you see "HPNA Network Performance Management Data". Right there is a button that says "View Saved Data". Please click that button, which will direct you to another web page.
Now, save the web page as follows:
Firefox
Right-click in the middle of the page and select "Save Page As", and save the web page as "Web Page, HTML Only".
Internet Explorer
Press the Alt button to bring up the menu bar. Go to the File menu and selct "Save As". In the dialog box that comes up, select the file type as "Webpage, HTML only".
Once you have saved the web page, please post here or send me a private message (PM), I will send you an e-mail address to send this file to.
This file is necessary for me to fix the Coax/HPNA display bug in U-Verse Realtime for i3812V and 3801HGV routers.

Joe, there seem to be two incidences:
HomePNA Network (Coax)
and HomePNA Network (Phoneline)
when I click on "view saved data" under the coax info I receive an error message.
"!Error there is no pre-saved data to load. Please run the initial load again."
link to initial load
when I click on intitial load, it seems to take me back to the previous page. I've emailed the resulting page anyway. Please advise if there is something else I can do.

Click here to override saved HPNA test results x
Click to continue
after confirming it reads:
The Extended Test is running, this page will automatically update when the test results are available.
The Extended Test is completed, the statistics page will be automatically loaded now.
then comes up with the refreshed page. It now looks like it populated some fields. I've emailed it to you. No error messages doing that.
here just the first table (edit: just noticed that table headers got screwed up. need to be moved two columns right after Station to Station).
| Station to Station HPNA Performance | PHY Rate (Mbps) | SNR (dB) | Rx Power Level - dB | Packet Error | ||

OK, cool, that chart is the one that U-Verse Realtime needs.
The problem is that it looks like you had to go through several web pages and clicks to get that chart to load. In order to make UVRT do this, I need to know the exact steps you took, and I need a capture/save of each and every page that the 2Wire router sends back to you.
Can you type up a step by step (e.g. you clicked on Extended Test, a box popped up that says _____, you then checked this box and clicked the button that says _____, etc. Try to save each page as HTML if possible.
Another thing you might try that would be massively helpful:
1. Download and install Firefox 3.6.10 if you don't already have it on your computer.
2. Search for a Firefox Add-On called "Live HTTP Headers". Install it.
3. Go to the C_2_5 web page in the 2Wire router (this is the one with the Extended Test Button on it).
4. Go to the Firefox Tools menu at the top, and choose "Live HTTP Headers". A window will pop up. Make sure the capture checkbox on the bottom is checked. Leave this window up.
5. Click the Extended Test button in the 2Wire's web page and go through the procedure to get that chart to display.
6. Go to the Live HTTP Headers popup window and uncheck the Capture checkbox. Then click the Save All... button and save the logged output and e-mail it to me.

ha, my wife just came down from the bedroom asking me what the heII is going on
. Of course it tells me right there at the first page that it will lose the video signal, hehe.
ok, I do have Firefox latest version and just installed the Live HTTP headers addon. However, I have to wait until my wife's show is over....
I've sent you all pages that load. There was just time enough to save each one of them without using the addon.
1 Extended Test button. Clicking on it will bring up a new page
2 Title:HPNA Extended Test
Running an Extended Test will interrupt HPNA, disrupting any video, and potentially other services. You may also lose connectivity to this display during that time.
Click here to override saved HPNA test results (check box)
Do you wish to continue? Continue button and Cancel button
Clicking on Continue will bring up Login page (not always).
3 Title: Login
Password: textfield
I forgot the password (link) and Submit button
clicking on Submit brings up a new page
4 Title: HPNA Extended Test
The Extended Test is running, this page will automatically update when the test results are available.
This page is only up for a few seconds then automatically goes to next page (it calls for PAGE=C_2_5a&DEVNAME=hpna1&NEWTEST=new&EXTENDED=TRU
5) Title: HPNA Extended Test
The Extended Test is completed, the statistics page will be automatically loaded now.
This page is only up for a few seconds, the status bar cycles a few times then goes to next page (it calls for PAGE=C_2_5.).
6) The populated statistics show up on PAGE=C_2_5.
hope that helps.

OK, thanks!
It looks like the 6.1.x.x firmware in the 3600HGV and 3800HGV-B does this test during startup and puts the results in the C_2_5 page. Apparently the 6.3.x.x firmware in the iNID and 3801HGV doesn't, but will do it on demand using the Extended Test button.
This is a difficult dilemma because:
a) There are a large number of postbacks and responses that UVRT will have to give to the 2Wire to make it run the extended test.
b) Doing so requires the 2Wire password, which up until now I haven't needed.
c) Running the test interrupts all Coax STBs and access to the i38HG if it's connected via coax.
So I don't know if I want to put this into the tool or not, or just have a URL displayed in the Coax/HPNA window that directs the user to go run the extended test and then UVRT can pull the recent test data off the C_2_5 page. This is probably what I will end up doing.
Thanks for all your help.
