My a/v picked up a flag when I tried to update the UV Realtime program.
"5/25/2012 2:54:37 PM Real-time file system protection file C:\Program Files\UV Realtime\UV Realtime.exe a variant of MSIL/Packed.CryptoObfuscator.C potentially unwanted application cleaned by deleting - quarantined NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM Event occurred on a new file created by the application: C:\WINDOWS\System32\msiexec.exe."
Known bug or what?
Thanks.

Your A/V is picking it up and flagging it because some trojans have also used Crypto Obfuscator to try to hide what they're doing, but that's not the case in UV Realtime.
Here is the home page of Crypto Obfuscator so that you can see that it is a legitimate product:

You may also want to contact your A/V application vendor and tell them that you're getting a false positive on UV Realtime and have them add it as an exception to their A/V application.

Thank you very much for the prompt reply ! I will report to the a/v folks and carry on normally.
