UVerse tv availability

Is there a way to find out when UVerse tv will be in my area? ATT told me i can have UVerse internet but not tv. Since internet is available it's just a matter of time till i can get UVerse tv but they can't give me a time frame. Is there a web site i can go to for this info.?

I haven't seen ATT make annoucements about when/where Uverse will be rolled out in different regions.  I called every two weeks after  I saw a VRAD in my neighborhood.  I don't know if the forum manager can give you anymore info but you can send him a PM if you like.

If they are just offering Uverse internet, you are too far for TV.  Most likely will not get Uverse TV as expansion is almost complete for the Uverse buildout according to ATT head honcho.

May not be true Uverse internet, may be IP-DSLAM ADSL 2/2+ out of the VRAD.

Can you explain expansion buildout? I was told by ATT it was coming. This same rep failed to tell me that for the internet installation (required for Uverse internet) it would be $149.99. Maybe this rep didn't know what they were talking about.

It means they are gonna be done w/most expansion of the Uverse footprint by the end of 2011.

AT&T is scheduled to reach 30 million U-verse homes passed by the end of the year with their U-Verse service, or roughly 55-60% of their homes. They will virtually stop there according to President John Stankey speaking at Citibank, who announced 55-60% as their ultimate goal. He suggested that 25-30% of AT&T homes will only be offered ADSL. 20% are "not a heavy emphasis for investment," i.e. 5-10 million of AT&T's 50 million homes are screwed unless they have a decent cable alternative. (Yes, rounding means not necessarily equal to 100 %.)

Thanks for the info. I hate that i maynot get Uverse tv. I was sure hoping for it. I hear it's much better than Directv. I'll call ATT to see if i can get more info.

This was the same response I just recieved from my latest call.....when will this come to my neighborhood...I am sick of my cable service and I know folks who have had tv service for over a year now.
